This custom, digital baby shower invitation was designed with a focus on simplicity and modernity, featuring playful elements such as a bear and little star accents. The client requested a design that incorporated flat colors, simple shapes, and a yellow and blue color scheme to match the party decor, along with a sans-serif font to complement the overall design.

The design process began with a hand-drawn sketch of the bear to ensure it aligned with the client's vision. The bear was intentionally designed to be flat and composed of oblong, oval shapes, making it distinct and modern while still playful, fun, and fitting for a baby shower. It was crucial to get the bear design just right, as it served as the focal point of the invitation and was intended to be versatile enough to be used in future birth announcements and momentos. After confirming the illustration style for the bear and selecting the font, Arlo proceeded to create vector illustrations of both the bear and the stars. A cohesive color palette was then developed to match the party theme and enhance the invitation's design.

The final layout was composed with all elements aligned to the center, and the stars were strategically placed to fill the negative space around the bear and text.
